REMEMBERANCE
PONTOTOC – Albert Lee Gaspard, 87, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He was born June 2, 1935, in Gueydan, Louisiana to the late Azile Gaspard and Eve Richard Gaspard. Gaspard pastored for 65 years in Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 8, 2023, at First Baptist Church Houston with son-in-law, Jay Johnston, son, Johnny Wade Gaspard, Wayne Squyres and Jimmy Robertson officiating. Memorial Funeral Home of Houston is in charge of the arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Lottie Jean Coleman Gaspard of Pontotoc; a son, Johnny Wade Gaspard (Mandy) of Pontotoc; a daughter, Jerilyn Johnston (Jay) of Baton Rouge; five grandchildren, John Grady Johnston (Annie), Jody Garrett Johnston (Olivia), Allie Mack Gaspard, Ella Jo Gaspard, Maggie Rose Gaspard; four great grandchildren, Chaucer, Xander, Davy and Remy; one sister, Laura Mae Breaux; one brother, John Gaspard. He was preceded in death by his parents; Azile Gaspard and Eve Richard Gaspard; three sisters, Mary Lou Simon, Lydia G. Monceaux, Virgie G. Plaisance; one brother, Howard Raymond Gaspard.
