ON THE MOVE

Chris Stephens is the new pastor at Rocky Springs Baptist Church, Lisbon.

Randy Burdeaux has resigned as pastor of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, West Monroe.

Bill Fowler is the new pastor at Twin Oaks Baptist Church, Bastrop.

Brandon Gill is the new pastor at Pine Ridge Baptist Church, DeRidder.

Jerry, wife Sonja, Medlin is the new executive pastor at First Baptist Church, Lafayette from First Baptist, Rogers, Arkansas.

Berkley Boyd retired as pastor at Magnolia Baptist Church after 52 years of service in the gospel ministry.

Brock, wife Netta, Hoffpauir is the new pastor at Moreauville Community Church, Moreauville.

Thumper Miller resigned as pastor of First Baptist Church, Mansfield at the end of June 2021. He is currently doing pulpit supply.

Nelson, wife Haleigh, Molnar is the new student pastor at First Baptist Church, Vidalia.

Christi Gibson has resigned as minister of education at First Baptist Church, New Orleans to begin a new ministry traveling and encouraging churches around the country.

Chad Logan is the new pastor at North Acres Baptist Church, Minden.

Jonathan Young is the new worship leader at First Baptist Church, Archibald.

David, wife Joan, Richmond is the new pastor at New Light Baptist Church, Mangham.

Will Englerth will be ordained for the Gospel ministry October 17, 3:00 p.m. at Conway Baptist Church, located at 4323 HWY 549 in the Conway community in Union Parish. The council will meet at 2 p.m. Friends and family are invited to attend.

Friendship Baptist Church, Bienville, celebrated the 45 years of service by their pianist, Jackie Lewis, on Sept. 12, 2021. The church wrote that it was blessed by Lewis’s God-given talent and expressed hope that she will continue blessing the church for years to come.
