First Baptist Churchm Haughton: Dedication of H.M. Prothro Ministry Center, August 11, following the morning worship service. Bro. Prothro was the pastor at Haughton Baptist Church for 41 years. The building being dedicated was built in 1962 as the new sanctuary however since 2007 it has served as the chapel, after construction of a 1200 seat worship center and education space. After an extensive remodel, the building will now house eight Life Group (Sunday School) rooms capable of holding 250-300 people. Pastor: Gevan Spinney.
