Additionally, Census Bureau statistics reveal that over the past 10 years there has been a 15 percent increase in the number of stay-at-home moms. These figures reflect a trend that more and more women are choosing to focus on their families rather than their careers.

While these and other moral failings are signs the United States is far from healthy, a more subtle sign could be just as telling.

Submitted by kboggs on Thu, 11/02/2006 - 02:00In some circles it is called “grinding.” An earlier form went by the name “dirty dancing.” Whatever it is called, when it shows up at a public school dance it is always controversial.
Blogging, forums require integrity
Submitted by kboggs on Thu, 10/26/2006 - 01:00Most everything has a downside. While oversized SUVs provide comfort and a measure of safety, they only get a few miles per gallon. The convenience of a backyard pool is offset by perpetual daily maintenance. Flying may be the quickest and most efficient way to travel but it comes with delays, probing security checks and overpriced food.

The Louisiana Baptist Foundation exists to help you be a good steward of God’s resources. As a good steward you should “render unto Caesar” – only – what is required for you to render and not more.
