Thomas Friedman, in his insightful work The World is Flat, wrote that the proliferation of the Internet has empowered and connected individuals globally through convergence of the personal computer with fiber optic cable and the rise of work flow software. With this phenomenal global connection comes the good, the bad, and the ugly.
