70 Years Ago Love bug bites at the Baptist Children's Home

BATON ROUGE – Ruby Louise Hilton was born on Dec. 14, 1919, the eldest of five siblings. Jesse Thomas (JT) Halley was born on July 30, 1916, one of four siblings. Jesse married Ruby on Oct. 29, 1939. This is their story – a “happy-ever-after” love story.

Looking back on her life, Ruby says with confidence, “I can see how the Lord had His hand in our lives from the very beginning.”
