IN REMEMBRANCE
James E. Carter, 80, passed away Jan. 26. Carter was employed with the Louisiana Baptist Convention as the Executive Assistant Director from July 1, 1977 until June 1, 1978. He resigned to accept a pastorate in Fort Worth, Texas but he would return to the LBC on July 1, 1988 as Director of Church Minister Relations until his retirement on Jan. 19, 2000. He was preceded in death by his wife Carole who passed away in June of 2014.
