PINEVILLE – The faculty and staff are getting ready for another great year at Louisiana College.
Student leaders are preparing for more than 330 freshmen to be on campus for the annual Wildcat Welcome Week, Louisiana College’s orientation for all incoming freshman.
It’s a time for the freshmen to meet the students and staff they’ll be around for the next four years. The week will introduce students to LC by placing them in groups led by upperclassmen where they will learn the essentials of college life.
The Louisiana Collegiate International Academy kicks off this fall with 11 Chinese students and five local students completing their high school degrees. LCIA offers students from around the world the opportunity to accelerate their academic careers in a collegiate campus setting with college-level courses.
Students who attend LCIA can potentially earn as many as 50 hours of college credit, fast tracking those students who may wish to pursue a Masters or Doctorate in the future.
There are many exciting things happening at your college and it could not be done without the support of our students, alumni, and Louisiana Baptists.
LC has been voted the 12th most conservative college by Newsweek/The Daily Beast in the nation! Other colleges on that list include Liberty University, 21st, and Wheaton College, 23rd.
Louisiana College is an institution that bases every discipline and art on the preeminence of the Lord Jesus, allegiance to the Holy Scriptures, dedication to academic excellence for the glory of God, and commitment to change the world for Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.

LC Athletics
On behalf of the coaches, players and staff for the athletic department at Louisiana College, we welcome you back to another exciting year of athletic competition.
All our athletes and coaches are gearing up for what could be our best season ever at Louisiana College. We hope to see you at many of our games this year.
“We would also like to extend a heartfelt “thank you” for all the support you have given us emotionally, spiritually, mentally and financially. We consider you as a family behind our teams and truly love our fan base for all that you do. As we aspire to serve our Lord and Savior in pursuit of helping our athletes reach their goals on and off the playing fields, we continue to solicit your financial support.
It is no secret that the pursuit of becoming devoted Christian student-athletes requires resources. Any financial investments you make today would be a benefit to our future Christian student-athletes and the communities they will serve. Get on board now in making a difference!” said Darrell D. Payne, LC Athletic Director and Associate Vice President of Auxiliary Services.
